Dudh Kunda Trekking
Dudh Kunda is a lake, situated at the front of Numbur Himal, locally known as Milky Pond of Solu. It is believed to be a holy lake and the local believe that taking a dip in the holy waters will have the wishes granted. For that, the Dudh Kunda Trekking attracts thousands of pilgrims every year. The trail takes you to dense rhododendron forests and a variety of wildlife such as leopards, bears, jackles, pheasants... On top of that it is said that the hospitality of the locals is one the most heart warming experiences in the Solu area.

ITINERARY OF THE TREKKING
Day 1 : Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel and welcome dinner in the evening.
Day 2 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu and preparation for the trek.
Day 3 : Drive to Jiri (1950m) by bus - 8h.
Day 4 : Jiri - Bhandar (2190m) - 7h.
Day 5 : Bhandar - Sete (2600m) - 6h30.
Day 6 : Sete - Junbesi (2670m) via Lamjura-la Pass (3500m) - 7h.
Day 7 : Junbesi - Jhyalsa (3600m) - 6h.
Day 8 : Acclimatization day in Jhyalsa.
Day 9 : Jhyalsa - Saharsbeni (2830m) - 6h.
Day 10 : Saharsbeni - Dudh Kunda (4560m) - 4h30. Exploration around Dudh Kunda.
Day 11 : Dudh Kunda - Thimba (3800m) - 6h.
Day 12 : Thimba - Ringmo (2720m) - 5h.
Day 13 : Ringmo - Phaplu (2430m) - 6h.
Day 14 : Fly from Phaplu to Kathmandu - 30 minutes.
Day 15 : Free day and farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 16 : Final departure.
