Great Salt Lakes Trekking (Ladakh)
The Salt Lakes Valley is one of the widest open areas in northern Ladakh. It has a length of about 20 kms and a maximum width of 7 kms. The high altitude lakes are something that lures adventurers. These lakes offer some pleasant trekking expeditions like the one to Tso Moriri at an elevation of 4595 meters.

ITINERARY OF THE TREKKING
Day 1 : Fly from Kathmandu to Delhi - 1h30. Fly from Delhi to Leh (3505m) - 80 minutes.
Day 2 : Sightseeing in Leh and preparation for the trek.
Day 3 : Sightseeing in Tikse and Hemis Gompas. Drive to Tso Kar via Taglang-la Pass (5260m)
Day 4 : Tso Kar - Nuruchan.
Day 5 : Nuruchan - Rajung Karu via Harlam Konka-la Pass.
Day 6 : Rajung Karu - Gyama via Kyamamuri-la Pass (5410m).
Day 7 : Gyama - Korzok (4600m) via Yalung Nyau-la Pass (5440m).
Day 8 : Korzok - Kiangdam via Tso Moriri (4295m).
Day 9 : Rest day at Kiangdam.
Day 10 : Kiangdam - Skyurchu.
Day 11 : Skyurchu - Korzok.
Day 12 : Drive from Korzok to Leh - 230 kms.
Day 13 : Sightseeing in Shey and Matho Gompas and Stok Palace.
Day 14 : Fly from Leh to Delhi - 80 minutes.
Day 15 : Fly from Delhi to Kathmandu - 1h30.
