Indus Valley Trekking (Ladakh)
The Indus Valley, formed by the main channels of the Indus River, is the soul of Ladakh. Passing through a vast inhabited wilderness at the very heart of the Himalayas, the Indus Valley region comprises of some of the least explored places of Ladakh. Through the Indus Valley and the ancient Kingdom of Sham, we will discover the main Ladakhi monasteries and the wonderful sites surrounding them. The trail crosses numerous villages where the people have kept their Tibetan ways and customs.

ITINERARY OF THE TREKKING
Day 1 : Fly from Kathmandu to Delhi - 1h30. Fly from Delhi to Leh (3505m) - 80 minutes.
Day 2 : Sightseeing in Leh and preparation for the trek.
Day 3 : Sightseeing in Spitok and Phyang and commence trek to Taru (3700m).
Day 4 : Taru - Nyemo (3700m) via Taru-la Pass (4200m).
Day 5 : Nyemo - Nie (3800m).
Day 6 : Nie - Likir (3600m).
Day 7 : Likir - Yangthang (3600m) via Pobe-la Pass (3700m) and Charatse-la Pass (3800m).
Day 8 : Exploration to Rizong Gompa.
Day 9 : Yangthang - Hernis Shukpachan (3600m).
Day 10 : Hernis Shukpachan - Temisgang (3700m).
Day 11 : Temisgang - Lamayuru. Drive from Lamayuru to Leh.
Day 12 : Sightseeing in Shey and Matho Gompas and Stok Palace.
Day 13 : Fly from Leh to Delhi - 80 minutes.
Day 14 : Fly from Delhi to Kathmandu - 1h30.
