Langtang Valley Trekking

Kyangjing Gompa lies in the Langtang region which is the nearest mountainous region from Kathmandu. The Langtang Valley is surrounded by high peaks of great appeal. It became famous ever since the British mountaineer Bill Tillman described it as the most beautiful valley in the world. Once in the valley you are engulfed by the alpine forests and have breath taking view of Langtang glacier in front of you while you trek.

ITINERARY OF THE TREKKING

Day 1 : Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel and welcome dinner in the evening.
Day 2 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu and preparation for the trek.
Day 3 : Drive to Syabrubesi (1460m) by bus - 9h.
Day 4 : Syabrubesi - Lama Hotel (2470m) - 6h.
Day 5 : Lama Hotel - Langtang Village (3490m) - 6h30
Day 6 : Langtang Village - Kyangjing Gompa (3870m) - 4h.
Day 7 : Kyangjing Gompa - Ghoretabela (2970m) - 6h.
Day 8 : Ghoretabela - Thulo Syabru (2130m) - 5h.
Day 9 : Thulo Syabru - Dhunche (1960m) - 3h.
Day 10 : Drive to Kathmandu by bus - 8h.
Day 11 : Free day and farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 12 : Final departure.
