Canyoning

Trekking

Nepal is the only country for canyoning in South-Asia. The country is already so famous for trekking, mountaineering, rafting… it is now time to promote canyoning as it can be packages along with other activities to make the trip more exciting and memorable.

Canyoning is an extremely adventurous sport. Canyoning is travelling in canyons by a variety of means including walking, sliding, climbing, jumping, wading, boulder hopping, rock climbing, rappelling, abseiling and swimming down waterfalls through steep canyon walls to deep pools.
Canyoning can be very easy or extremely difficult but it is enjoyed by people of all ages and skill levels.
An instructor brings you in some of the many rivers, streams and brooklets flowing down hundreds of mountains in the lower Himalayas and rugged hilly regions across west to east of Nepal.

There are 24 canyoning sites developed in Nepal: 15 in Annapurna Region, 5 in Bote Koshi, 2 in Bandib and 2 in Kakani.

Canyoning tools and equipment includes climbing hardware such as static ropes, helmets, wetsuits, special designed shoes, harness, carabineers, figures 8, safety tethers, canyon bags… This entire stuff is provided by your instructor.
