Mountain Flight

Trekking

No country can compete with Nepal for the concentration of peaks. Indeed, for 14 summits of more than 8000 metres, 8 are located in Nepal. The country also has a hundred of peaks of more than 7000 metres.
You are travelling in Nepal but do not have time for a trekking which lead you to these high peaks of Himalayas? Do you know that there is a fast way to admire a round view of 40% of the Himalayan Range? This is what we call the Mountain Flight.

You board on a plane designed to fly at low altitude (7600 metres). During one hour, you see spectacular landscapes providing a majestic view on some of the highest peaks on Earth (Everest, Lhotse, Makalu…) as well as the Tibetan plateau and Kathmandu Valley. A breathtaking view!

The Mountain Flight runs every days (if the weather agrees it) from the domestic airport of Kathmandu. The best season to see the mountains goes from February to April and from October to November. Each passenger gets a guarantee window seat which permits him/her to take pictures through the clear window. An attentive steward or hostess is present for your comfort and to help you to indentify the different peaks that you can see from your seat. One after another, the passengers are allowed to visit the cockpit and enjoy the pilot view.

This flight is for you the unique opportunity to be close to the Himalayas: Mt Ganesh Himal (7111 m), Mt Dorje Lhakpa (6966 m), Mt Shisa Pangma (8013 m), Mt Phurbi Chyachu (6631 m), Mt Choba Bhamare, Mt. Gaurishanker (7134 m), Mt Melungtse (7023 m), Mt Chugimago (6297 m), Mt Numbur (6956 m), Mt Karyolung (6511 m), Mt Cho-Oyu, (8021 m), Mt Gyanchungkang (7952 m), Mt Pumori (7161 m), Mt Nuptse (7855 m), Lhotse (8516 m), Mt Everest (8848 m), Mt Amadablam (6856 m), Mt Chamilang, Mt Makalu (8463 m).
