The Dumje festival is one of the most
stunning Sherpa cultural festivals performed
in the Tengboche monastery of Namche
Bazaar in May or June every year. It
is also popularly known as Buddhist
festival, Khumbu festival, Solukhumbu
festival or the Tengboche festival during
which period there is much dancing,
drinking and merry making. Passing through
different Sherpa villages and communities
of Khumbu valley, this Sherpa land treks
is a perfect substitution for a wonderful
Tibetan cultural trek. Any one planning
a Nepal trek during May or June may
