Pisang Peak

Pisang: Lowest small scale climbing peak of Nepal

Rising opposite of Annapurna II (7937m) with its well defined ridges Pisang is one of the lowest small scale climbing peaks, for which matter it is considered to be the easiest non-expedition peak in Nepal. It lies roughly in between the giant Annapurna I and Manaslu Himal; both eight thousand plus meters. To reach the base camp from Pisang village, the path ascends through sparse wood and pasture to Kharka at (4,380m) which is considered the best place for setting up the base camp. High Camp is set up at 5,400m climbing to a shoulder on the South West Ridge.

Important Tips :
• On the climbing side, no experience is necessary; however you must be familiar with alpine environments and must understand the risks that camping and climbing above the snowline pose.
• All these peaks are real mountains and all require real mountaineering techniques for safe climbing.
• Our itinerary has been carefully planned, allowing maximum time for acclimatization.
• We have very high successful rates on peak climbing. However don't underestimate how challenging climbing can be.
