Tamang Heritage Trail

Previously a restricted area near the Tibetan border, the Tamang Heritage Trail is famously known as Briddim Village Trekking. As a non tourist trekking area in Nepal, the Tamang Heritage Trail highlights the ancient lifestyle of indigenous Tamang people who migrated into Nepal from Tibet centuries ago. This is a superb introduction to trekking in Nepal among some of the most beautiful scenery in the whole country.

ITINERARY OF THE TREKKING

Day 1 : Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel and welcome dinner in the evening.
Day 2 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu and preparation for the trek.
Day 3 : Drive to Syabrubesi (1460m) by bus - 9h.
Day 4 : Syabrubesi - Gatlang (2240m) - 6h.
Day 5 : Gatlang - Tatopani (2610m) - 6h.
Day 6 : Tatopani - Thuman (2340m) via Nagthali (3165m) - 6h.
Day 7 : Thuman - Rasuwagadhi (1810m) - 5h.
Day 8 : Rasuwagadhi - Briddim (2230m) - 6h.
Day 9 : Briddim - Syabubesi - 3h.
Day 10 : Drive to Kathmandu by bus - 9h.
Day 11 : Free day and farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 12 : Final departure.
